BIG K.R.I.T – Hometown Hero
I love this track. It isn’t long, doesn’t have the most amazing lyrics, but dude’s flow, voice and beat is catchy. Plus, Krit made the beat himself. He doesn’t mind digging in the crates, and using samples, either. He’s from Meridian, Mississippi, and just recently (as in, “last week”) got signed to Def Jam. He dropped his recent mixtape, “Krit Wuz Here” a month or so ago. I would like to know what’s up with the artwork on that mixtape. For a southern rapper, it looks like the last thing I’d ever see as far as artwork goes.

Truth Universal – Serve And Protect
“people hate police all over the planet”
I first met Truth when he was hosting a DJ battle at the Howlin’ Wolf in New Orleans back in 2003.
He still does shows and puts it down for New Orleans to this current day. A really cool dude.

dope video.

Jay Electronica – A Million In The Morning
Yeah, I saw this a month ago when it came out. Yet, it’s still dope. I wonder who made that beat.

EPMD and Das Efx on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
Here’s a weird and rare old school (“golden era”) hip hop moment.
Props to The Meaning Of Dope.

te’ – 夢とは現実という平凡なものに付ける美しさに似た『嘘』の俗称。
I like this band, the song, and the video equally. What I don’t like is trying to find it on youtube.
